Mymetall is a special nickel / iron alloy that has a very good ability to shield low-frequency magnetic fields due to its high permeability. Processing is ok, but sharp folds should be avoided.
The mumetal is heat-treated to get full permeability, if you fold the sheet, the heat treatment should be redone.
Suitable for shielding small point sources or small sensitive devices.
When shielding cables and power stations, it is recommended that the shield protrudes 1m outside in all directions.
